Their instincts proved to be correct. We saw with our own eyes the state of the rotting plywood base and badly corroded lead underside which was pulled away, once the work was started.
We were impressed with the quality of the workmanship. They were able to weld perfectly fitting leadwork in situ, clearly taking a great deal of pride in their work. They kept us informed every step of the way and it was a pleasure having them around. There were no unexpected items of work added on, and significant extras that I myself requested were cheerfully accommodated at a fair price.
